Barone was in the fourth season of Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone made an appearance in the show Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone Also, she played the role of her wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friendsthe premiere episode.
